Project 406 is a magnificent 52m six-deck vessel and the world’s largest sportfisher ever built. Designed by Dutch design studio Vripack and built by Royal Huisman, the custom new build transcends the boundary between sportfisher and superyacht. As part of our Partner Network, Seascape Marine partnered with Hampshire Marine as technical managers on the build, alongside Bush and Noble who consulted on the project.

Underpinned by Vripack’s sea keeping analysis, the world’s first true sportfish superyacht is an all-aluminium construction with purposeful lines that sweep dramatically aft from a distinctive long and sleek profile. A powerful hull reinforces the design. It possesses an authentic long flared bow of a typical American sportfisher twinned with a towering six-deck profile. High bulwarks displace approaching waves and maintain the boat’s stability.

On the interior, a sweeping forward-facing master stateroom is a first in the world of sportfisher design. The refined sky lounge delivers front row views onto the exhilarating aft deck action, while the grounded naval architecture of a true game fishing boat guarantees performance. With the delivery of Project 406 in 2024, sportfishing parameters have been seamlessly reimagined.
